Our editorial standards.
How NeoInvest educational content is researched, written, reviewed, versioned and corrected.
Who creates content
Educational content is written by the NeoInvest team. Where an individual author is named on an article, that person wrote or substantially edited it.
Who reviews content
Articles carry a named reviewer or an explicit review-pending state. We do not describe content as reviewed when it has not been, and a review-pending article is not indexed.
Source hierarchy
We prefer primary and official sources, in this order: UK government and regulators; official exchange and market documentation; primary company disclosures; peer-reviewed research; other reputable secondary sources.
Versioning current information
Content that depends on rules which change — tax years, thresholds, regulatory detail — records the version it assumes and the date it was last reviewed. A change in rules invalidates the content until it is reviewed again.
AI-assisted drafting
AI tools may be used to draft or restructure explanatory content. Nothing drafted that way is published without a person fact-checking it and verifying every source. Citations are checked to exist and to say what the article claims they say.
Separating marketing from education
Educational articles are not written to sell the product. Where an article links to a NeoInvest feature, that link is marked as a product link rather than presented as a conclusion of the analysis.
Conflicts of interest
NeoInvest earns subscription revenue only. It receives no commission for mentioning any investment, product or provider, and no third party pays for coverage or placement in educational content.
Additional review for tax and regulatory content
Content touching UK tax or regulation requires review beyond ordinary editorial checking. Until that review exists, such content stays unpublished or carries an explicit review-pending state.
We do not describe content as expert reviewed, legally reviewed, tax reviewed or FCA reviewed unless an identified, appropriately qualified person actually performed that review.
